THE WONDERLAND OF LIGHTS & SANTA’S VILLAGEPARTNERS WITH NON-PROFITS TO HELP SPREADHOLIDAY CHEER

TAMPA, FL (Monday, November 23, 2020) -- The Wonderland of Lights & Santa’s Village is proud to announce our partnership with three local non-profit agencies to benefit the Tampa Bay Area community. In keeping with the holiday spirit, we have joined with these organizations to assist in spreading cheer to those who need a little help this year.

Through November 26, OneBlood will have the Big Red Bus at select locations in Tampa for residents to give the gift of life. In return, donors will receive a 50% off discount for the Opening Night of The Wonderland of Lights and Santa’s Village. Over the last nine months, donations to OneBlood has decreased due to the effects of Covid-19. Now more than ever, there is a desperate need for blood and plasma. Visit https://www.oneblood.org/wonderland for dates and locations to find the Big Red Bus and donate the gift of life.

Thursday, December 3, starting at 6pm, with a donation at the entry gate of 10 undamaged, non-perishable food items for The United Food Bank of Plant City, receive $5.00 off the ticket price good for the light tour and Santa’s Village. Donations may include canned foods such as beans & corn, tuna, soup, evaporated milk, peanut butter, pasta, and boxed items such as rice, noodle mixes, cereals, granola bars, crackers, juice. For the full wish list, email mheysek@ufbpc.org. Donations will benefit the Children’s Nutrition Outreach Program, Mobile Pantry Distribution, and Holiday Meal Baskets. For more information, visit www.ufbpc.org.

At the entry gate Thursday December 10, receive $5 off admission with a minimum donation of a 5lb bag of unopened dog or cat food for The Humane Society of Tampa Bay. After the light tour, guests are encouraged to stop by the Pet Adoption Event hosted by The Humane Society of Tampa Bay by the Entertainment Complex in Santa’s Village. Visit www.humanesocietytampa.org to learn more about pet adoption.

The Wonderland of Lights is proud to sponsor of these events and urge guests to return time to travel through over a mile of spectacular lights and holiday displays all from the safety of their vehicles. Join us November 26 – December 27, 2020, at the Hillsborough County Fairgrounds, just east of Brandon located at 215 Sydney Washer Rd, Dover, FL 33527.
