Flu Season is Here
Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital and the Tampa Bay community is already seeing an increase in flu cases, but it's not too late for families to get their flu shot. Influenza vaccines can help prevent this serious illness that can lead to hospitalization and sometimes, even death. As a reminder, the flu mist is not being offered at our hospital due to the CDC ruling it has been ineffective in year's past. At Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital, we put patient safety first by requiring all our employees and volunteers to get a flu shot and recommend the same for all parents and their family members.
