Brush, Blow & Go Review
Nicole Gavin is a single mom of 3. She has curly hair and has had a lot of experience with blow outs (the hair kind, not the diaper kind- although with 3 kids....). Nicole saw a need and developed her dream with her own two hands- literally. Brush, Blow and Go opened on Monday September 12th and so far, reviews have been outstanding. The salon is located at 13018 N Dale Mabry Hwy between Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza and McNatt's Dry Cleaning in the beautiful Carrollwood area.
For blowouts, you have several choices- Classic Blow & Go, Blow Up & Go, Blow & Go With Braiding, Blow & Go With Curling Iron, Blow & Go With Flat Iron, Quick Blow & Go and A Little Blow & Go (under 10)! Wait, there's more! You can also receive a mini makeover (Eyes, Lips, Go), a full make over, faux eyelashes, waxing and that's just what Nicole is offering for now!
The moment you walk into Brush, Blow & Go you'll feel welcomed. The decor is simple, elegant with a hint of rustic. The colors are calm and soothing helping you feel instantly relaxed. Nicole did most of the work in her new salon herself! She hired an excellent team to work with her who are very friendly and easy to talk to.

What's even better? She's offering FREE blowouts until September 16th to help get the word out. I got a text message this morning from my friend, Gina Midyett, telling me to go get my free blowout. Within a few minutes I had my appointment booked and was so excited to go. As a busy mom of 4, I don't get to spend much time on myself.
When I walked in the door, Nicole was walking out but she immediately turned around to come introduce herself. I was offered a beverage and was seated to wait on my stylist. I didn't have to wait long for Rich to call my name and take me into an hour of time just for me. He washed and conditioned my hair with L'Oreal then massaged my scalp- it was heavenly. He wrapped up my long hair in a towel and led me to his chair. He used Amika Bombshell spray and mousse to help with volume. He dried 90% of my hair without a brush then he sectioned off cute, clipped pig tails to start blowing it dry with a curling brush. As he dried the sections, he used a fat curling iron to add gorgeous curls. He finished with a heat shield to help with our horrible Florida humidity and topped it off with a spray. I walked in feeling like a frumpy mom and walked out feeling like a fabulous woman! I will definitely be back soon, probably to get my bushy eyebrows waxed!
